Eco Materials

It has been famously observed that we are living in a material world, which makes it essential for us to consider the nature of the material in our green lives. When considering materials for use in our work we focus on finding high quality, eco-friendly elements. It’s not just about printing on recycled paper anymore

- Renewable materials: Bamboo, because it grows so fast and easily, is a wonderful renewable material and one we use for our flooring.
- Recycled materials: We use countertops made with recycled paper and porcelain. We use tiles made from recycled glass and porcelain. We also use composite decking materials and recycled carpet tiles.
- Reduce waste and use less: Modular technology allows for 75% less waste during construction.
- Long-lasting and low maintenance: Materials such as weathering steel roofing and cement siding with integrated color rarely require repainting and are relatively maintenance free. They are strong and reliable materials with long lives.
- Re-use: When possible, we incorporate previously used materials into our houses.
