VP of Sales
Job Description:
Oversees entire Sales and Marketing Department including implementing marketing strategy to maintain consistent sales of single and multi-family homes. Candidate will have extensive experience in residential or commercial real estate at the executive level. A proven track record in complex and strategic sales spanning at least 10 years, selling $10M+ projects over 9 -24 month sales cycles to first-time and repeat buyers.

• New business development (prospect research and solicitation).
• Responsible for annual revenues on the order of $10M - $50+M.
• Monitors and maintains Sales and Marketing budget.
• Implements Sales and Marketing strategy to drive traffic and sales.
• Hires and motivates Sales and Marketing staff.
• Trains sales staff.
• Manages all aspects of Sales/Marketing.
• Conducts market research.
• Creation of client presentations.
• Preparation of financial analyses.
• Requires 40% travel time.

Required Skills:
• College degree in Business, Marketing or related field
• 15+ years experience in real estate
• Experience in Real Estate Deal Structuring and financing is strongly preferred
• Complete and thorough knowledge of new home real estate and residential industries
• Developing tactical execution plans for coverage of regional accounts and/or territories.
• Identifying key decision makers and relationships within key clients that will drive new revenue opportunities.
• Generating quotes and formal proposal packages.
• Working with counsel to develop contract terms.
• Experience working with large, multi-location companies operating in multiple states.
• Ability to hire, train, mentor and motivate staff.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Conflict management, problem solving and analytical skills.
• Driving for results, planning and meeting deadlines.

Production Manager
We currently have an opening for a Production Manager with broad residential construction experience. Job responsibilities include the scheduling, supervision and coordination of all activities on the production floor to meet capacity utilization, quality, cost and safety goals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, coordinate and assign daily production work activities.
- Manage 2 to 4 direct production supervisor reports
- Ensure job and schedule requirements are communicated to subcontractors and proper supervision occurs
- Assist in hiring and training new production employees; ensure employees comply with safety policies
- Conduct regular quality inspections and ensure employee compliance with QA process
- Evaluate direct labor and subcontractor requirements to meet production schedule
- Review production schedules and specifications in order to plan production operations
- Determine and schedule required maintenance on all production equipment
- Lead production process development (efficiency and quality improvements)

Requirements:
- minimum 10 years of broad residential construction trades experience. Modular experience highly desired
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills

Project Architect
With Multi-Family Experience
Michelle Kaufmann Designs of Oakland, California is offering (1) immediate position for a talented individual as a Project Architect in the exciting world of modern, modular and sustainable residential design and construction. Only full-time positions will be considered. Successful candidates are required to have a Bachelor of Architecture degree (Master degree strongly encouraged), 3-7 years of professional experience and have demonstrable skills in design, technology and documentation with ability to multi-task in a small office environment.

Multi-family planning, design and construction experience is strongly desired.

Excellent design, planning, management, communication and organizational skills are required. The candidate should be proactive with the ability to manage multiple projects under the direct supervision of a Principal or Project Manager. The individual should be able to program, space plan, and develop design documents. A good working knowledge of local codes and construction is required. License to practicearchitecture in California is desirable.

Knowledge of sustainable design and LEED certification are an advantage.

AutoCAD proficiency, Word Processing, Photoshop and 3D modeling proficiency are a must.
