The mkLoft™ uses the same sustainable materials, methods and systems as the other MKD homes, including renewable, recyclable materials, high-performance mechanical systems, healthy+energy efficient foam insulation, low-flow plumbing fixtures, fsc-certified cabinetry, dual-pane + low-E glazing systems, with grey water, water catchment and solar options available as well.

The units can be 2-story or 3-story. They can be live/work or just residential. The lower level can be customized to the site and program. It can be parking, or retail, or a studio.
